Following the horrification and backlash of Sonic’s design for the upcoming live-action movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, director, Jeff Fowler, stated on his Twitter:

The power of nerd rage and the internet triumphs! Paramount has listened loud and clear. Sonic will be getting a redesign before his big release. Hopefully, they will create a design that most everyone can be happy with. I advise they take inspiration from fan-creations because they generate the most positive feedback. There’s plenty on the internet that they can take inspiration from. They have until November to fix it, so let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best.
Please for the love of Sonic, no human teeth!
