It was late February last year when word began to spread of Kelsey Grammer returning to the radio station as KACL’s psychiatrist in a continuation of the 2004 NBC sitcom, Frasier. The long-running series featured the aftermath of Frasier Crane’s life and now-ended marriage in fellow sitcom, Cheers.
The show is set to have its revival housed on Paramount+ and at this point, still expected to release this year. The reboot was already noted to be in the final stages of scripting and claimed that it “looks pretty good.”
According to Deadline, the show takes place after the original 2004 series concludes and that while Frasier thinks his life will go one way, it goes in another direction. This new Frasier will hopefully have just as big of an impact as the original did back when it hit the airwaves.
